🇬🇧 The vast majority of Tetsuo Harada's work is abstract. Yet, far from being cold and cerebral, his sculptures are often romantic, erotic, or at times innocent and maternal. Harada evokes seduction, the sensual act, fertilisation, gestation in the maternal womb, childbirth, hatching, birth, family… After an initial effort of reading, the meaning of the work is perceived in the symbol, to be seen with the eyes, and to be touched with the hands.
🇯🇵 原田哲男の作品の大部分は抽象的です。しかし、冷淡で頭脳的なものではなく、彼の彫刻はしばしばロマンチックで、エロティックで、時には無邪気で母性的です。原田は、誘惑、官能的な行為、受精、母親の胎内での妊娠、出産、孵化、誕生、家族を喚起します。初めて読む努力の後、作品の意味はシンボルで認識され、目で見て、手で触れるものです。
🇫🇷 La grande majorité des oeuvres de Tetsuo Harada sont abstraites. Mais loin d’être froides et cérébrales, ses sculptures sont souvent romantiques, érotiques, ou parfois innocentes et maternelles. Tetsuo Harada évoque la séduction, l’acte sensuel, la fécondation, la gestation dans le ventre maternel, l’accouchement, l’éclosion, la naissance, la famille. Après un effort de lecture initial, le sens de l’œuvre se lit dans le symbole a voir avec les yeux, et a toucher avec les mains.
